Caleb turned 8 on March 29 and got baptized that weekend. For his birthday he invited about 4 of his little friends to go play black light mini golf. They had so much fun, but first of all let me say that one 8 year old boy is crazy, get 5 of the together and it's INSANE! We picked them up from school and drove them to the place we were going to play (which was in a mini-mall area called Harbour Town). We got the boys popcorn chicken and fries for a snack and let them laugh and be nasty and annoy everyone else around us.
After their snack we headed up to the mini golf place. I was underwhelmed, it was just a thrown together mini golf course with black light painted scenery. But from the comments I heard from the boys, they really loved it. "This is the best party ever!" "This place is awesome." Okay, glad you liked it. Some of the boys were really competitive, it was fun to see them trying to beat the others score. The hardest part was keeping them from running ahead into the next room, but they were much easier to handle once they had a task to complete.

That weekend Caleb was baptized into our church. Chris's dad was able to come out for the week to be here for Caleb's birthday and baptism and spend time with the kids.
