It was so sad to leave all our Austin friends. We've lived here for 4 years now, longer than we've lived anywhere and in that time we made dome great friends, so it was really hard saying goodbye to them all.
They all had a "Texas style" goodbye party for us at Rudy's on the night we left town.

Lanae, Rachel and Rachel

Check out those good looking guys!

Love my girls!

Running buddies!
Our good friends and neighbors, the Browns had us over for dinner one of our last nights in town. We are really going to miss them- it was great having fun kids just across the street for Caleb and Ellie to play with.

Crazy kids! Caleb, Ellie, Lauren and Nick

Caleb has already informed us that he's going to marry Lauren

A goodbye pile-on

Saying goodbye to our first home was pretty sad too, it definitely made me tear up :(
The kids said goodbye to their school friends the last day of school before winter break, they both had holiday parties, so it felt like an extra special day.

Ellie and some friends from her class

Caleb and his first grade teacher, Mrs. Abbott

Ellie and her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Pinkston
We were also able to see Chris's sister Kimberly one more time before we left, the kids were thrilled to see Aunt Kim!

Goodbye Austin! We love you!

That is so hard to say goodbye! Good thing you get to keep friends forever!
Just remember, once a Texan, always a Texan. All you have to do is keep saying your "yalls", and "yes sirs"
