Eleisha's visit- Melbourne Museum and Eureka Skydeck

We had the kids with us the Monday Eleisha was here because they were on their fall break, so we went to the Melbourne Museum.

One of our favorite parts of the museum was this huge room with tons of stuffed animals (the previously alive kind of stuffed, not like a teddy bear). Then there were touch screens all over where you could touch the animal and it would pull up all the info about it. The kids were talking about it for a week!

Dinosaur bones are always a big hit, at least a fun photo-op :)
She wasn't touching it, the idea was to show how big the foot was compared to her hand.

Sorry Eleisha, but this picture makes me laugh, you big-mouth!

Some cool aboriginal artwork

How cute is this? a tapestry designed by a bunch of kids :)

That afternoon we went to the Eureka skydeck- an 88 story building (the highest in the southern hemisphere) where you can get awesome views of the city.

In the elevator, heading up!

And the amazing view!
